SCOOP
atlantic-connection-1-var-hype-music East Coast does West Coast right, especially when were talking about Atlantic Connection. AC’s Boston roots don’t stop him from partying it up westside style.  AC’s big hit “Big Shot” worked perfectly on MTV’s Jersey Shore and his other tracks included in Hype maintain the same momentum and party anthem vibe.  His songs have the biggest impact with the car window down and the volume cranked to 10!  What’s surprisingly awesome about Atlantic Connection is his musical diversity.  I’m guessing it derives from his strict musical upbringing where he discovered the guitar, violin, saxophone, and piano.   His tracks “Hold On” and “Touchscreen” showcase that he can put the party down for a second and give us a really smooth, deconstructed, down tempo dup step track which is (despite that description) uplifting and rockin!  It’s been exciting watching AC develop from a house DJ to a hip hop producer and shove those dance vibes in his back pocket and blend them seamlessly into a flow that makes you move, bounce and dance.  Atlantic Connection is an artist that you “Need 2 Know”!

BIOGRAPHY

A producer, DJ, engineer, publishing company & record label owner, Atlantic Connection is pushing himself to the forefront of urban music.  With influences ranging from disco to dubstep, Atlantic Connection is seamlessly blending genre and style to create a sound completely unique and extremely catchy.

Released in 2008, AC’s debut album Tomorrow’s Not Enough stayed in the dance charts throughout that summer and was heralded as one of the most fresh and innovative projects of the year. Tomorrow's Not Enough was followed up by several remix singles from some of the hottest producers in the electro scene, propelling its notoriety in club-land and resulting in licensing deals with Global Underground, MTV & VH1.

After a string of successful dance singles, remixes and non stop licensing requests, Atlantic Connection is in production on his second studio album, due for release winter 2011.  A mix of future bass, dubstep, hip hop and house, the yet untitled project will feature a host of guest producers and performance artists.   2011 is going to be a exciting year for this multi-faceted artist.
