Hell & Lula is an upbeat, infectious dance rock band based out of Los Angeles. They produce a contemporary club rock meets 80's New Wave sound that’s fun and catchy. The group moves seamlessly between bouncy and positive tracks like "Set The World On Fire" and more anthemic ballads like "2 Fifths Divine". The added bonus is that they tour in a school bus and donate a portion of their touring proceeds to anti-war causes. Yay!
We wanna make you dance, we wanna make you think, we wanna make you think about dancing. We're four dudes and a robot slave from L.A. playing music we enjoy and playing like we mean it. Hell & Lula played our first show in March of 2010. We tour in a "Cool Bus" (converted school bus), we've developed the first Recycled Merchandise Program we've ever heard of and we help spread the message of our friends at Falling Whistles about the war in Congo, what can be done to stop it and how funds raised through the sale of whistles help rehabilitate war-affected kids. We've just signed with the new MTV/Extreme Music partnership Hype Music, so look for us on media everywhere.
